Meir Steinhart is a leadership expert with extensive academic and professional experience. He holds a BA in Pedagogy, Literature, and History from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (1967), an MA in Educational Administration and Curriculum from the University of Haifa (1990), and a PhD in Philosophy of Education, with a thesis on Ethiopian teenagers, from the University of Haifa (2000).
From 2008 to 2017, Steinhart served as a researcher in the office of Prof. Miriam Ben Peretz at the University of Haifa and as an Associate Professor at the International Institute for Leadership – Histadrut (Israel). He has led leadership workshops across numerous countries, including El Salvador (Ministry of Public Security), Honduras, Equatorial Guinea, Guatemala (Mineduc), Colombia (Ministry of Defense), Ecuador, Russia, Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay (Penitentiary Systems), among others.
Steinhart also served as the Pedagogical Director of the Palestinian-Israeli Spanish Educational Project for Peace and was a member of the Arab-Jewish Teachers Forum from 2012 to 2017. His academic contributions include notable publications, such as Judeo-Latin American Teenagers and the Search for Their Cultural Roots (MA Thesis, University of Haifa, 1990), as well as various publications from 1995 to 2012, including the Peace Education Manual and Education as a Means of Peacebuilding for the Palestinian-Israeli Project at the International Institute for Leadership – Histadrut.
